Job Overview
As a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer at Deepgram, you will be instrumental in driving sales success by providing deep technical expertise and understanding of our Voice AI platform. You will engage with prospective and existing customers, translating their business needs into robust technical solutions leveraging Deepgram's cutting-edge APIs. This remote role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and identify opportunities for Deepgram's solutions.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions and product demonstrations to showcase the value of Deepgram's STT and TTS APIs.
- Design and articulate complex technical solutions tailored to customer use cases.
- Develop and deliver compelling proofs-of-concept (POCs) and technical proposals.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers throughout the pre-sales cycle.
- Provide feedback to product and engineering teams based on customer interactions and market trends.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a pre-sales engineering, solutions architect, or similar technical customer-facing role, preferably within AI, ML, or cloud technologies.
- Strong understanding of speech recognition (STT) and text-to-speech (TTS) technologies.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Python, Node.js).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
