Job Overview
The Operations Readiness Program Manager will be instrumental in ensuring Zipline’s operational preparedness and successful expansion in Nigeria. This role involves meticulous planning, execution, and management of all aspects of operational readiness, from site selection and build-out to team training and regulatory compliance, ensuring seamless integration and efficient functioning of our delivery networks.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive operational readiness plans for new Zipline service areas in Nigeria.
- Oversee the establishment and commissioning of new operational hubs, including infrastructure, logistics, and equipment.
- Manage stakeholder engagement with local communities, government bodies, and healthcare partners.
- Coordinate and execute training programs for local operational teams to ensure adherence to Zipline's standards and safety protocols.
- Ensure all operational activities comply with local regulations and Zipline's global best practices.
- Identify and mitigate operational risks, developing contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within operational readiness processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in program or project management, with a focus on operational readiness or new market launches.
- Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and operational processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience working in Nigeria or other emerging markets is highly desirable.
