Job Overview
This position will lead the strategic development and execution of high-quality proposals for funding opportunities, while simultaneously establishing and maintaining robust knowledge management systems. The Manager will be instrumental in capturing, organizing, and disseminating organizational learning to enhance program effectiveness and innovation.Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end process of developing compelling and competitive proposals for various donors.
- Establish and manage a comprehensive knowledge management system, including databases, repositories, and best practice documentation.
- Facilitate the capture and dissemination of lessons learned, case studies, and program impact stories.
- Conduct research and analysis to inform proposal content and organizational strategy.
- Provide guidance and support to program teams on knowledge management and proposal development best practices.
Requirements
- Relevant Degree or an equivalent professional pathway in development, economics, business, information/knowledge management, communications, or a related discipline.
- At least five years of relevant experience in proposal development, consulting, knowledge management, research, or donor-funded projects.
- Demonstrated success in writing and managing complex proposals.
- Proficiency in knowledge management principles and tools.
- Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
