Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT & ERP Implementation Manager to join our consulting team. This role involves leading the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise resource planning system implementations for our diverse client base across the African continent. You will oversee complex IT projects, manage implementation teams, and ensure successful system deployment aligned with client business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects from initiation through go-live and stabilization
- Manage cross-functional implementation teams and coordinate with stakeholder groups
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies
- Conduct requirements analysis and ensure system configuration meets client needs
- Oversee quality assurance and testing protocols throughout implementation phases
- Manage project risks, issues, and changes in alignment with best practices
- Provide technical guidance and support during system rollout and user training
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of ERP implementation experience
- Proven expertise with major ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Strong project management and leadership capabilities
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience in the African business environment is advantageous
