Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, conduct, and document internal audit activities across organizational departments
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and management responses
- Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies
- Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed
- Maintain audit documentation and develop audit schedules
Requirements
- Professional qualification in Internal Audit (CIA, CCSA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 5 years of internal audit experience
- Strong knowledge of risk management and internal control frameworks
- Excellent analytical, written, and communication skills
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications
- Understanding of nonprofit or healthcare sector operations preferred
