Job Overview
The Head, Reconciliation, Settlement & Chargeback will oversee all reconciliation activities, settlement processes, and chargeback management for Hope PSBank. This role is critical to maintaining operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and protecting the bank's interests in payment transactions. You will lead a dedicated team and implement best practices in transaction verification, dispute resolution, and financial accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily reconciliation processes across all payment channels and settlement accounts
- Oversee chargeback investigations and dispute resolution with acquiring banks and merchants
- Lead the reconciliation team and establish standard operating procedures
- Monitor settlement timelines and ensure accurate fund transfers
- Investigate transaction discrepancies and implement corrective measures
- Generate reconciliation reports and provide management with actionable insights
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Coordinate with finance, operations, and external banking partners
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 8+ years of experience in reconciliation, settlement, or payment processing
- Strong knowledge of payment systems and chargeback processes
