Job Overview
The Driver / Ambulance Driver will operate ambulances and other company vehicles to transport patients under various circumstances, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey. This position is integral to our 24/7 Level 4 healthcare services, supporting our outpatient, inpatient, and emergency care operations.Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate ambulances and other vehicles to transport patients.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls, ensuring swift and secure patient transfer.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and hospital safety protocols.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine checks to ensure operational readiness.
- Assist in patient loading and unloading as required.
- Document trip details accurately.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Experience as an ambulance driver or in a similar patient transport role is preferred.
- Knowledge of local geography and navigation.
- Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
