Job Overview
As a Customer Solutions Engineer – Payments, you'll serve as a technical expert and trusted advisor to Zuora's customers. You'll manage the technical delivery and optimization of our payments platform, ensuring seamless integration, robust performance, and measurable business outcomes. Working in a remote capacity, you'll collaborate across customer success, sales engineering, and product teams to resolve complex payment scenarios and accelerate customer adoption.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement payment solutions tailored to customer business models and technical requirements
- Troubleshoot payment integration issues and provide actionable recommendations for resolution
- Conduct technical training sessions and create documentation to enable customer teams
- Collaborate with customers to optimize payment flows, reduce friction, and improve conversion rates
- Partner with product and engineering teams to communicate customer feedback and enhancement requests
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and solutions within our case management system
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in payments, billing systems, or subscription platform implementation
- Strong proficiency in payment processing concepts, APIs, and integration patterns
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience with customer-facing technical delivery and communication
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
