Job Overview
The Commercial Insurance Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing the insurance portfolio for Fresh Prints and its subsidiaries. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks through comprehensive insurance strategies, ensuring compliance, and fostering strong relationships with brokers and carriers.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and manage all aspects of the company's commercial insurance programs, including general liability, professional liability, workers' compensation, property, and umbrella policies.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential exposures and recommend appropriate insurance coverage.
- Liaise with insurance brokers and carriers to obtain quotes, negotiate terms, and ensure cost-effectiveness of policies.
- Process and manage insurance claims, working closely with adjusters and relevant departments.
- Maintain accurate insurance records, policy documents, and certificates of insurance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant insurance regulations and corporate policies.
- Educate internal stakeholders on insurance policies and risk management best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in commercial insurance, preferably within a corporate environment.
- In-depth knowledge of various commercial insurance lines and their application.
