Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Branch Accountant to join our Abuja office. You will be responsible for managing financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards for our branch operations.Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain branch financial statements and accounting records
- Process invoices, payments, and reconcile accounts regularly
- Monitor branch budgets and provide financial analysis
- Ensure compliance with SIMS Nigeria Limited accounting policies and Nigerian tax regulations
- Coordinate with head office on financial reporting and audits
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
- Support branch management with financial insights and recommendations
Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years' accounting experience in a similar role
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Nigerian tax laws and regulations
