Job Overview
The Associate Director, Clinical Operations/Country Manager will be responsible for the strategic oversight and day-to-day management of all clinical operations within their assigned country. This role requires a deep understanding of clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements, and local healthcare landscapes to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality trial execution, acting as the primary local representative for Precision for Medicine.Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement country-specific clinical operations strategies aligned with global objectives.
- Oversee all aspects of clinical trial execution, including site selection, initiation, monitoring, and close-out.
- Ensure adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP), local regulations, and company SOPs.
- Manage relationships with local regulatory authorities, ethics committees, and key opinion leaders.
- Develop and manage country-level budgets and resources effectively.
- Lead and mentor local clinical operations teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Mitigate risks and resolve operational challenges to ensure timely and successful trial delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for country-specific inquiries and operational matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a life science, healthcare, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in clinical operations within the pharmaceutical or CRO industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex clinical trials in the designated country.
- In-depth knowledge of local regulatory requirements and ethical guidelines.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and tools.
