Job Overview

The University Librarian will be responsible for the strategic development, management, and efficient operation of the Greenland University Library. This pivotal role involves fostering a vibrant learning environment, supporting academic research, and ensuring access to comprehensive library resources for students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement library policies and procedures.
  • Manage the acquisition, organization, and dissemination of library collections.
  • Oversee library staff and ensure professional service delivery.
  • Provide research and information literacy support to the university community.
  • Champion the integration of technology in library services.
  • Develop and manage the library budget.
  • Foster partnerships with academic departments and external stakeholders.

  • Master’s degree in Library and Information Science from a reputable institution.
