Job Overview
The Transport Supervisor will be responsible for the efficient management and coordination of all transport activities within Amaiden Energy Nigeria, ensuring timely and safe movement of personnel and equipment. This role requires a proactive individual with strong leadership and logistical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the transport department.
- Ensure the safe and efficient deployment of vehicles and drivers for project needs.
- Maintain vehicle fleet records, including maintenance schedules and licensing.
- Develop and implement transport policies and procedures.
- Monitor driver performance and conduct regular safety training.
- Optimize routes and schedules to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
- Manage fuel consumption and inventory of vehicle parts.
- Respond to and resolve any transport-related issues or emergencies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Transport Supervisor or in a similar logistics role.
- In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards in Nigeria.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in relevant transport management software.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
