Job Overview

DAG Industries Nigeria Limited is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Territory Development Officer to spearhead our growth initiatives in key regions across Nigeria. This pivotal role will involve identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, strengthening our existing distribution network, and ensuring the successful market penetration of our product portfolio. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven ability to drive sales, build strong relationships, and achieve ambitious targets within a competitive landscape.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement comprehensive territory development strategies aligned with DAG Industries’ overall business objectives.
* Identify, evaluate, and onboard new distributors, dealers, and strategic partners to expand our market presence.
* Conduct thorough market research and analysis to understand local market dynamics, competitor activities, and emerging trends.
* Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients and channel partners.
* Develop and execute sales plans, monitor performance against targets, and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Provide training and support to distributors and sales teams to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
* Manage inventory levels and ensure efficient product distribution within the assigned territory.
* Represent DAG Industries Nigeria Limited at industry events, trade shows, and customer engagements.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or territory management, preferably within the automotive or FMCG sector in Nigeria.
* Demonstrated success in identifying and developing new markets and establishing robust distribution networks.
* Excellent understanding of the Nigerian business environment and market nuances.
* Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Proficiency in market analysis, strategic planning, and sales forecasting.
* Ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory and across Nigeria.
