Job Overview
As Team Leader for the NPFF program, you will oversee the strategic implementation of public financial management reforms and fiscal policy initiatives throughout Nigeria. You will provide technical leadership, coordinate with government stakeholders, and ensure program objectives are achieved on schedule and within budget. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on technical expertise in fiscal management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the NPFF program team, ensuring effective performance and professional development
- Coordinate with Nigerian government ministries and institutions on reform implementation
- Monitor program progress against key performance indicators and deliverables
- Develop and implement fiscal reform strategies and policy recommendations
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to senior stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with program standards and donor requirements
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in public financial management or fiscal policy
- Proven team leadership and project management experience
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian government systems and budgeting processes
- Advanced degree in Economics, Public Administration, or related field
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
