We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone who is eager to develop their skills and grow within the field of information technology. Responsibilities include: Serving as the first point of contact for staff by receiving, logging, troubleshooting, and resolving computer and technology issues. Monitors Support Desk phone calls, emails and responds accordingly. Providing timely technical support to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems and infrastructure. Assisting with technical onboarding of new employees, including account setup and equipment deployment. Provides training and support to all employees in the operation of software (Microsoft Office Suite) and in the operation of hardware (laptops, printers, etc.). Maintains all Printers provides maintenance and ensure adequate supplies are available. Assists IT on all facets of software such as MS Windows systems and servers, including, but not limited to implementation, installation, backup, documentation, upgrades, etc. Assists and helps maintain company’s e-mail and related support servers and systems, including documentation, upgrades, etc. Manage and maintain an active IT inventory of all equipment both Hardware/Software, Laptops, Desktops, Printers, Network, Cellphones. Supporting the configuration, installation, and maintenance of hardware, software, and peripherals. Education/Experience: Associates degree or a minimum of two years IT Help Desk experience in lieu of degree. Qualifications: PC Technical knowledge is required. Tablet and smart phone knowledge are desired. Proven experience in technical support or a related field with a focus on desktop support. Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and their functionalities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical users. Ability to work well under pressure while managing multiple tasks efficiently. A proactive approach to problem-solving with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
