SOC 2 Associate Manager – LATAM at Top Employer | Remote

Insight Assurance is a global audit firm on a mission to transform how organizations achieve cybersecurity and compliance with confidence. We are seeking a motivated SOC 2 Associate Manager to join our growing LATAM team. This fully remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our clients’ security posture while working from anywhere within the LATAM region.

Job Overview

As a SOC 2 Associate Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading and executing SOC 2 audits for our diverse client base across Latin America. You will leverage your expertise in security frameworks and audit methodologies to ensure client compliance and deliver high-quality assurance services. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple engagements effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SOC 2 Type I and Type II audit engagements.
• Assess clients’ internal controls related to information security.
• Develop audit plans, perform testing, and document findings.
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide junior audit staff.
• Stay current with SOC 2 framework updates and best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience with SOC 2 audits (Type I and Type II).
• Solid understanding of information security principles and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or related field.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Fluency in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
