Job Overview

The Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and within budget. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities on site.
  • Ensure adherence to construction plans, specifications, and building codes.
  • Manage site resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Monitor progress and identify potential delays or issues, implementing corrective actions.
  • Conduct quality control inspections and ensure all work meets required standards.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports and progress updates.
  • Oversee site safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
  • Liaise with project managers, architects, and subcontractors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Site Engineer or in a similar construction management role.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • Registered Engineer with relevant professional bodies is an added advantage.
