Job Overview

The Senior Python Developer (Full Stack) will be responsible for end-to-end development of web applications, from conception to deployment. This role requires a strong understanding of both front-end and back-end technologies, with a focus on Python and its associated frameworks. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable and efficient software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and performant web applications using Python and related frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask).
  • Develop and implement robust APIs for seamless integration with various systems.
  • Build and maintain responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular).
  • Manage database design and implementation (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code following best practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define project requirements and deliver features.
  • Implement and maintain automated testing strategies to ensure code quality and reliability.
  • Deploy applications to cloud platforms and manage infrastructure as code.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack web development.
  • Expertise in Python and at least one major Python web framework (Django, Flask).
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a modern JavaScript framework.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to development.
