Job Overview

The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share within the Chemical & Laboratory Division. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven ability to develop and execute effective sales plans, manage a sales team, and build strong client relationships within the Nigerian market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve divisional targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to ensure peak performance.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the chemical and laboratory sectors.
  • Manage and nurture key client accounts, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance reviews.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management within the chemical or laboratory equipment industry.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong understanding of the Nigerian market and its business landscape.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
