We are seeking a skilled Project Quality Control Engineer with expertise in Engineering Fabrics to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing project success.
Job Overview
The Project Quality Control Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all engineering fabric-related aspects of our projects meet the highest quality standards and adhere to project specifications, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and manage the Quality Control plan for engineering fabric materials and installations.
Conduct inspections and testing of engineering fabrics at various stages of the project lifecycle.
Review material certifications, test reports, and compliance documents for engineering fabrics.
Identify and document non-conformities, propose corrective actions, and verify their effectiveness.
Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to resolve quality issues.
Maintain accurate quality records and prepare regular reports for project management.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards during all quality control activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
Proven experience as a Quality Control Engineer, with specific experience in engineering fabrics.
In-depth knowledge of fabric types, properties, testing methods, and relevant industry standards (e.g., API, ASTM).
Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality documentation.
