As the seventh greenfield of the Advans Network, Advans Nigeria is committed to empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in urban Nigerian areas, addressing the significant credit gap faced by entrepreneurs. Job Overview

The Relationship Officer will be instrumental in building and maintaining strong relationships with our MSME clients, understanding their financial needs, and offering appropriate microfinance solutions. This role requires a proactive approach to client acquisition, portfolio management, and ensuring client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and acquire new MSME clients through targeted outreach and networking.
  • Assess client creditworthiness and financial needs through thorough analysis.
  • Develop and present tailored loan proposals and financial product solutions.
  • Manage and nurture existing client relationships, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor client loan performance and proactively address any potential issues.
  • Achieve individual and team sales targets and portfolio growth objectives.
  • Provide excellent customer service and act as a trusted financial advisor to clients.
  • Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a client-facing role, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Strong understanding of MSMEs and their financial challenges.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.
