Job Overview
As our Quality Assurance (QA) Officer, you will play a pivotal role in upholding the excellence of Instollar LLC’s renewable energy installations. You will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and meticulously monitoring quality control processes across our solar, inverter, and hybrid system projects. Your expertise will ensure that all installations meet stringent technical specifications, safety regulations, and client expectations, directly contributing to our reputation for delivering top-tier renewable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance plans and procedures for renewable energy projects, including solar PV systems, inverters, and hybrid configurations.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify adherence to installation standards, design specifications, and safety protocols.
* Perform rigorous testing and evaluation of installed systems to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and longevity.
* Identify and document non-conformities, defects, or potential risks, and collaborate with project teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
* Maintain detailed records of quality control activities, inspection reports, test results, and compliance documentation.
* Review technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation to ensure alignment with quality requirements.
* Provide training and guidance to installation teams on quality best practices and relevant technical standards.
* Stay abreast of industry advancements, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the renewable energy sector to continuously improve quality assurance processes.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a closely related field.
* Proven, demonstrable experience working with renewable energy systems, specifically in solar PV, inverter technology, or hybrid installations.
* Strong understanding of electrical principles, system design, and installation best practices for renewable energy.
* Familiarity with relevant Nigerian electrical codes, safety standards, and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaunt effectively with various stakeholders.
* Proficiency in documentation and reporting.
