ECS is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join our remote team. In this critical role, you will provide expert support for cloud-related application and infrastructure migration and modernization initiatives under the NIH NIAID Enabling and Advancing Technologies (NEAT) contract. You will be instrumental in ensuring the successful delivery of complex technological advancements within a high-impact government research environment.

Job Overview

This Project Manager position focuses on leading and coordinating the execution of cloud migration and modernization projects for the National Institutes of Health (NIH) National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). You will manage all project phases from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with client objectives and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
  • Oversee and manage project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, team members, and leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to project methodologies and best practices.
  • Track project progress, report on status, and manage change requests.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, with a strong background in IT infrastructure and application projects.
  • Demonstrated success managing cloud migration and modernization efforts.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • PMP or similar certification is a plus.
