Job Overview

The Production Centre Finance Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of Beiersdorf’s production facility in Lagos, Nigeria. This includes managing budgets, financial planning, controlling, and reporting to support the achievement of production and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage the production centre’s budget and financial forecasts.
  • Monitor production costs, identify variances, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting for the production site.
  • Collaborate with the production and supply chain teams to optimize cost efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls.
  • Support financial audits and ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CMA, ACA) is preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Controller or in a similar financial management role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and cost accounting principles.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in financial management software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Fluent in English, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
