Job Overview

The Regulatory & Product Counsel will play a pivotal role in advising on legal matters related to Lucid’s products, with a particular focus on regulatory compliance and data privacy. This individual will collaborate closely with product, engineering, and business teams to guide the development and launch of new features and offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on a broad range of legal issues impacting Lucid’s software products, including data privacy, security, intellectual property, and consumer protection.
  • Conduct legal reviews of product features, marketing materials, and terms of service.
  • Monitor and interpret relevant domestic and international regulations and provide actionable guidance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing legal policies and procedures related to product development and compliance.
  • Support the negotiation and drafting of commercial agreements related to product integrations and partnerships.
  • Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to practice law in at least one US state.
  • 5+ years of relevant legal experience, with a strong emphasis on product counseling and regulatory compliance, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Proven experience with data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
