Job Overview

The Logistics Manager will be instrumental in overseeing and optimizing Proten’s logistical operations within Nigeria. This role demands a strategic approach to ensure the efficient flow of resources, materials, and personnel, supporting our diverse range of client engagements and internal operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all aspects of logistics, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory.
• Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to support Proten’s service delivery.
• Oversee the procurement and management of resources for training and consulting projects.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Nigerian logistics regulations and company policies.
• Optimize delivery routes and schedules for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure timely and quality service delivery.
• Manage and maintain logistical documentation and records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Logistics Manager or in a similar role, preferably within Nigeria.
• Strong understanding of Nigerian transportation networks and customs procedures.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in logistics management software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
