A company in Lagos State is currently recruiting a Loan Collection Officer to support its debt recovery operations. This full-time role is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills who can contact overdue customers and ensure loan repayments are made on time.

Job Overview

The Loan Collection Officer will be responsible for contacting customers with overdue loans through phone calls, SMS, WhatsApp, and other communication channels. The role requires persistence, confidence, and the ability to handle pressure while ensuring that repayment commitments are secured.

Key Responsibilities

Debt Collection

• Contact customers with overdue payments through phone calls, text messages, and WhatsApp
• Follow up consistently to ensure loan repayments are made

Communication and Negotiation

• Communicate clearly and assertively with customers
• Convince clients to settle outstanding debts

Reporting and Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of customer communications and payment updates
• Operate the company’s system according to guidelines during working hours

Performance and Compliance

• Follow company procedures and complete daily tasks assigned by supervisors
• Participate in in-office training programs to improve operational skills

⚠️ Employees must maintain performance targets, as consistent poor performance may lead to termination.

Salary and Benefits

• Base Salary: ₦75,000 – ₦110,000 (depending on experience and performance)
• Phone Allowance: ₦26,000 per month
• Daily Bonus: ₦18,200 per month (based on attendance)
• Weekly Bonus: Up to ₦72,000 monthly for top performance

Career Growth

• Eligible for salary review after 6 months of service
• Annual performance bonuses for top-performing staff
