We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Legal Officer to join our team and provide comprehensive legal support across all operational and commercial aspects of our business.

Job Overview

The Legal Officer will serve as a critical member of our management team, ensuring compliance with Nigerian laws and regulations while protecting the company’s interests in all business dealings and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and draft contracts, agreements, and legal documents
• Ensure regulatory compliance across all business operations
• Provide legal counsel on commercial transactions and partnerships
• Manage litigation and dispute resolution matters
• Maintain corporate governance and legal documentation
• Advise management on legal risks and mitigation strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor of Laws degree and valid Nigerian legal practitioner certification
• 5+ years of relevant legal experience in commercial or corporate law
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian business and contract law
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
