Key Responsibilities

* Assist in the design, implementation, and ongoing testing of internal control frameworks across various business functions, including finance, operations, and procurement.
* Conduct regular assessments and walkthroughs of key business processes to identify control deficiencies, operational inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
* Document control activities, findings, and recommendations in a clear and concise manner, preparing reports for management review.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement remediation plans for identified control weaknesses.
* Support the annual internal audit process by gathering requested documentation, facilitating interviews, and tracking the progress of audit recommendations.
* Monitor compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant regulations.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of the internal control environment by staying abreast of best practices and emerging risks in the e-commerce and luxury retail sectors.
* Maintain organized and accessible documentation for all internal control activities and assessments.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Proven experience in internal control, internal audit, risk management, or a similar compliance-focused role.
* Strong understanding of internal control principles, frameworks (e.g., COSO), and audit methodologies.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis and report generation.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex issues effectively.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote work environment.
