Job Overview

The Industrial Electrician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within Avatar New Energy Materials’ facilities in Nigeria. This position requires a strong understanding of industrial electrical principles, safety protocols, and troubleshooting techniques to ensure minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical issues and malfunctions.
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure reliability of electrical components.
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and electrical codes.
  • Troubleshoot control systems and power distribution networks.
  • Operate and maintain specialized electrical testing equipment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician.
  • Certification or equivalent qualification in electrical trades.
  • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical faults in industrial machinery.
  • Knowledge of high-voltage systems and control circuits.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures and practices.
