PDO Incorporated is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Human Resources Officer to join our team in Lima, Peru. As the central hub for Brand PDO, one of Africa’s most socially impactful personal brands, we are committed to driving forward-thinking initiatives across social development, entrepreneurship, climate advocacy, and media. This role is integral to supporting our mission by fostering a productive and engaged workforce.

Job Overview

The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for managing and executing a range of HR functions to support PDO Incorporated’s operations in Lima, ensuring alignment with our organizational values and strategic objectives. You will play a crucial role in talent acquisition, employee relations, policy implementation, and fostering a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding new employees.
  • Oversee employee relations, addressing grievances and fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and effectively communicated.
  • Organize and conduct staff training and development programs.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an HR Officer or in a similar HR generalist role.
  • Strong understanding of Peruvian labor law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluency in Spanish; English proficiency is a plus.
