Key Responsibilities of the Human Resource Manager

Recruitment and Staffing

• Manage the full recruitment and selection process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding new employees
• Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and maintain an effective workforce
• Ensure timely hiring and smooth onboarding of new hires

HR Policies and Compliance

• Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies in line with company standards and labor regulations
• Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws and statutory requirements
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and personnel files

Employee Relations and Performance Management

• Handle employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution
• Coordinate staff performance appraisal processes and support management with evaluations
• Monitor employee attendance, leave management, and adherence to company policies

Payroll, Benefits, and Staff Development

• Administer payroll processes, employee benefits, and statutory obligations
• Identify training needs and organize staff development programs to enhance workforce skills
• Prepare periodic HR reports and provide strategic HR insights to management

Requirements for the Human Resource Manager Job in Lagos
