Job Overview

The HR & People Operations Officer will be instrumental in managing and optimizing HR processes, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the overall employee experience at Alpha Mead Group. You will play a key role in implementing HR initiatives, supporting talent management, and ensuring the smooth operation of people-related functions across our multi-country organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and administer HR policies and procedures in line with best practices and company objectives.
• Manage employee onboarding, offboarding, and HR documentation processes.
• Support the recruitment and selection process, including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
• Assist with payroll administration and benefits management.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations across various operating countries.
• Act as a point of contact for employee queries and provide HR support.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR initiatives and programs.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in HR or People Operations, preferably within a multi-national or geographically diverse organization.
• Solid understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
• Excellent organizational and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Proficiency in HRIS and relevant software applications.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
• Experience working across African markets is a distinct advantage.
