Job Overview

The Guidance and Counselor will be responsible for promoting the emotional, social, and academic well-being of students across all levels. You will work collaboratively with parents, teachers, and administrative staff to create a supportive school environment that fosters student development and achievement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group counseling sessions addressing academic, personal, and social concerns
• Develop and implement guidance programs promoting mental health awareness and emotional resilience
• Collaborate with teachers to identify and support at-risk students
• Maintain confidential records and conduct assessments
• Liaise with parents regarding student progress and concerns
• Refer students to external specialists when necessary

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field; Master’s preferred
• Professional counseling certification or licensure
• Minimum 3 years’ counseling experience in educational settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with digital tools and virtual counseling platforms
• Knowledge of adolescent development and contemporary issues
