Job Overview

As a Full Stack Engineer with a back-end emphasis at Tongston, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and maintenance of our web applications. Your primary focus will be on server-side logic, database management, and API development, while also contributing to front-end implementation when necessary. You will work within an agile environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and efficient back-end services and APIs.
  • Design and implement database schemas and manage data integrity.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions and decision-making.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer with a strong back-end specialization.
  • Proficiency in one or more server-side programming languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, Java, Ruby).
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular).
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Understanding of version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
