Job Overview

The Finance Officer will be responsible for a range of financial activities, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, and supporting the broader finance team in Nigeria. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Process invoices, payments, and expense reports in a timely manner.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Support budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and local regulations.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a financial or accounting role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
