Job Overview

The Facilities Officer will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of all physical facilities at Integrated Dairies Limited, ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment that supports our dairy production and processing operations. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of all IDL facilities, including the dairy farm, processing plant, administrative buildings, and grounds.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment and infrastructure.
• Manage and coordinate repairs, renovations, and upgrades to facilities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Supervise and manage external contractors and service providers.
• Maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Respond promptly to facility-related issues and emergencies.
• Prepare and manage facility maintenance budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facility Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in facilities management, preferably within an industrial or agricultural setting.
• Strong understanding of building systems, maintenance, and repair.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software for maintenance and inventory management.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
