Job Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Electrical Engineer to support our petroleum exploration and production operations in Nigeria. This role is crucial for maintaining and optimizing electrical systems that power our drilling, processing, and production facilities. You will work in a collaborative environment where technical expertise directly impacts operational safety and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, install, and maintain electrical systems for offshore and onshore facilities
- Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of electrical equipment
- Ensure compliance with international safety and environmental standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project implementation
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance programs
- Prepare technical reports and documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in oil and gas operations
- Professional Engineering certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
