A leading Nigerian training and development organization is currently recruiting for a Director of Growth and Strategic Partnerships Job in Lagos. This full time hybrid role is designed for experienced professionals who can drive institutional expansion, strengthen high level partnerships, and lead revenue growth initiatives.

The successful candidate will play a strategic leadership role by increasing program enrollment, building relationships with key stakeholders, and positioning the organization as a trusted partner for corporate and government training solutions across Nigeria.

The Director of Growth and Strategic Partnerships will lead initiatives focused on market expansion, institutional collaboration, and long term revenue generation. The role involves engaging with government agencies, multinational organizations, and professional institutions to secure training partnerships and large scale development programs.

Candidates must be able to represent the organization at executive level engagements while identifying opportunities that support sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities of the Director of Growth and Strategic Partnerships Job in Lagos

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties.

Strategic Market Expansion

  • Identify new market opportunities that align with the organization’s training programs
  • Expand access to training solutions across different sectors of the Nigerian economy
  • Develop strategies that increase institutional participation and program enrollment

Partnership Development and Management

  • Build and manage long term relationships with corporate organizations and government agencies
  • Lead partnership discussions from initial engagement through agreement signing and implementation
  • Oversee the preparation of partnership documents including Memoranda of Understanding and service agreements

Government and Corporate Engagement

  • Engage with regulatory bodies and government institutions to secure official endorsements and training mandates
  • Work closely with corporate organizations to establish large scale professional training partnerships

Revenue Growth

  • Achieve ambitious revenue targets through corporate training contracts and large enrollment agreements
  • Secure long term service level agreements with organizations seeking training and development solutions

Brand Representation

  • Represent the organization at executive conferences, industry events, and professional forums
  • Strengthen brand reputation through strategic engagement with key decision makers

Requirements

To qualify for the Director of Growth and Strategic Partnerships Job in Lagos, candidates should meet the following criteria.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field
  • An MBA or relevant professional certification such as NIM or ISMMN is highly desirable

Experience

  • 3 to 6 years experience in a senior business development, growth strategy, or partnership management role
  • Previous experience within EdTech, professional services, or management consulting is an advantage
