Job Overview
The Senior Product Manager (Senior Care) will be instrumental in defining and executing the product strategy for PointClickCare’s senior care offerings in Canada. This role demands a deep understanding of the senior care market, a user-centric approach, and the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable product roadmaps. You will champion innovation, drive product development from ideation to launch, and ensure our solutions meet the evolving demands of Canadian healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for senior care solutions in Canada.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify unmet needs and opportunities.
- Translate user needs and business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Prioritize product backlog and manage development sprints to ensure timely and high-quality releases.
- Define and track key product metrics, analyzing performance to inform future iterations.
- Act as a subject matter expert for senior care products, providing guidance and support to internal teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Product Management, with a significant focus on healthcare technology or senior care solutions.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing complex software products.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare system and the senior care market landscape.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
