Job Overview

The Consultant Grant & Proposal Writing Specialist will be instrumental in securing funding and strategic partnerships by developing compelling and persuasive grant proposals and business development documents. This role requires a strategic thinker with exceptional writing and analytical skills, capable of articulating Bincike International’s value proposition and project methodologies effectively to diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Research and identify relevant funding opportunities from foundations, government agencies, and international organizations.
• Develop comprehensive and persuasive grant proposals, ensuring alignment with donor requirements and organizational objectives.
• Craft compelling business proposals, concept notes, and other collateral to support new business development initiatives.
• Collaborate with program managers and technical experts to gather necessary information and data for proposals.
• Manage the proposal submission process, adhering to strict deadlines and guidelines.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of Bincike International’s grant writing strategy.

Requirements

• Proven track record in successful grant and proposal writing, preferably within the development, security, or conflict resolution sectors.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and persuasive language.
• Strong research and analytical abilities to understand complex project requirements and donor priorities.
• Demonstrated understanding of grant application processes and common donor requirements.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
