Job Overview

The Communication Specialist will be instrumental in developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies that align with MCPL’s business objectives and brand values. This position requires a creative individual with exceptional writing, editing, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging diverse audiences and fostering strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic communication plans for various internal and external initiatives.
• Create compelling content for a range of platforms, including press releases, social media, company newsletters, website copy, and marketing materials.
• Manage and monitor social media channels to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
• Organize and coordinate corporate events, ensuring seamless communication flow.
• Liaise with media representatives and build strong relationships with journalists.
• Support crisis communication efforts by developing timely and accurate responses.
• Ensure brand consistency in all communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Communication Specialist or similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in content creation and editing for various media.
• Familiarity with social media management tools and best practices.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
