We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager specializing in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services to join our growing team. This pivotal role will be instrumental in expanding our MEP business segment, forging strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth within the Nigerian market.

Job Overview

The Business Development Manager (MEP) will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing effective sales strategies, and nurturing client relationships within the MEP sector across Nigeria. You will play a key role in understanding market trends, competitor activities, and client needs to position Taewoo Limited as the preferred provider of MEP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the MEP construction and maintenance sectors.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies to achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals, tenders, and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and potential growth areas.
  • Collaborate with the technical and delivery teams to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms for Taewoo Limited.
  • Represent Taewoo Limited at industry events and conferences.
  • Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field within the MEP industry.
  • Strong understanding of MEP systems and services.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
  • Knowledge of the Nigerian construction and engineering market is a significant advantage.
