Job Overview

The Assembly Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and executing the assembly processes for components and materials used in OneLand Africa’s development projects. This includes ensuring adherence to specifications, quality standards, and project timelines, while actively contributing to process improvement and problem-solving within the assembly workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and perform the assembly of various components and materials according to design specifications and engineering drawings.
• Ensure all assembled products meet OneLand Africa’s quality control standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with the engineering and construction teams to identify and resolve assembly-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of assembly activities, materials used, and any deviations from standard procedures.
• Operate and maintain assembly tools, machinery, and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of assembly processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience in assembly operations, preferably within the construction or real estate development sector.
• Strong understanding of assembly techniques, materials, and quality control principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
• Proficiency in using relevant assembly tools and equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
