Job Overview

Noani Home&Design is seeking a meticulous and proactive Accountant / Finance Officer to join our growing team in Nigeria. This pivotal role will be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and contributing to strategic financial planning. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial management, coupled with the ability to adapt to the dynamic nature of a design and retail business. You will be instrumental in maintaining the financial health and integrity of Noani Home&Design as we continue to expand our reach and impact.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger management.
* Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
* Oversee payroll processing and ensure timely and accurate disbursement of salaries and benefits.
* Develop and implement robust internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
* Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections.
* Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
* Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as required.
* Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
* Manage inventory accounting and cost tracking for design projects and retail products.
* Process and record financial transactions accurately and efficiently using accounting software.

Requirements

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN, ACA) is highly desirable.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or financial management.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, SAP Business One) and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong understanding of Nigerian accounting standards and tax regulations.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a keen eye for detail.
