Job Overview

The Accountant will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of Neveah Limited, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. This position is integral to supporting the company’s continued growth and international trade activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
  • Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations and accounting standards.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Assist with internal and external audits.

    • Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN) is an advantage.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably within the commodities trading sector.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles and Nigerian accounting standards.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity and attention to detail.
