We’re building next-generation DeFi liquidity infrastructure on Solana, focused on under-collateralized borrowing, programmable margin accounts, and fully composable on-chain strategies.
We’re looking for a Smart Contract Engineer (Rust) to play a key role in designing, deploying, and maintaining secure, high-performance smart contracts that power a production DeFi protocol.
This is a hands-on engineering role for builders who care deeply about security, performance, and real-world DeFi use cases.
Location: Remote (PST–CAT time zone preference)
Compensation: Competitive salary + token/equity incentives
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Rust-based smart contracts on Solana
- Build and optimize core protocol features for DeFi liquidity and margin systems
- Architect scalable, secure, and gas-efficient on-chain systems
- Collaborate closely with product and research teams to ship production-ready features
- Support internal tooling, SDKs, and on-chain operational processes
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional software engineering experience
- 1–3 years working with Rust and Web3 technologies
- Proven experience deploying production smart contracts handling real funds
- Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals and smart contract security
- Ownership mindset with a strong passion for DeFi innovation
Nice to Have
- Experience building on Solana or using Anchor
- Contributions to open-source DeFi projects
- Background in financial systems, risk modeling, or protocol economics
Why Join
- Work on cutting-edge DeFi infrastructure at the protocol level
- Competitive compensation with long-term upside via tokens/equity
- Fully remote role with flexible collaboration across time zones
- Opportunity to shape how liquidity moves in DeFi—faster, safer, and more capital-efficient
