Job Description

Flour Mills of Nigeria (FMN) is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to support quality control operations by testing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products, while maintaining high standards of accuracy, hygiene, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
• Receive, label, log, and test raw materials, in-process, and finished product samples
• Carry out local content analysis on Sorghum, Maize, and Cassava flour
• Prepare reagents and solutions for laboratory analyses
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, reports, and Certificates of Analysis (CoA)
• Ensure laboratory hygiene, good housekeeping, and adherence to best practices

Requirements
• OND in a Science-related discipline
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a laboratory environment
• 5 O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics
• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills
