Deposit & Loan Mobilization Officer
Job Description
We are looking for a proactive and target-oriented Deposit & Loan Mobilization Officer to join our team. This role focuses on expanding the bank’s deposit base, sourcing quality loan clients, and fostering long-term customer relationships that align with our growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to attract new depositors across savings, fixed, and current account categories.
Prospect and engage potential clients, including individuals, corporate organizations, cooperatives, and associations.
Manage and grow existing customer accounts to ensure retention and increased portfolio value.
Meet assigned monthly and quarterly deposit targets.
Source and onboard credible loan clients (retail and SME).
Carry out preliminary credit assessments and work collaboratively with the credit team through the loan process.
Monitor loan repayments and support recovery efforts when required.
Promote the bank’s products and services to boost brand visibility and market reach.
Prepare and submit periodic reports on marketing and business development activities.
Requirements
Previous experience in deposit mobilization, loan marketing, or relationship management within a Microfinance Bank or financial institution.
Demonstrated ability to meet deposit and loan acquisition targets.
Strong understanding of microfinance banking products and basic credit analysis.
